OK...so my girlfriend is a model.  She gets hit on all the time by photographers.  There are dudes who are subtle and their are dudes who are not so subtle.  Every one of them knows she has a boyfriend.  I guess I'm just saddened by a world where we are supposed to be all civilized yet for some reason, dudes think that even if a girl is taken, that maybe they will somehow be interested in them instead.

I've seen this show up way more than once. And in all honesty have been sort of a victim of it myself.  There was a model I worked with once who seemed really interested in me as a person and I even went and met her parents and such.  I always paid to work with her, but it kind of felt like she really liked me.  She even called me up once and asked for $120 because her car was broken.  When I found out she was dating someone, the luster fell, and I could really see through the manipulation of it all.  I guess I was naïve. But since I know that feeling now, I can see it when other dudes are interacting with my GF.  She is very open and friendly and strokes these dudes egos so that she can get more money from them to shoot with her again.  Pretty much all models do this in some way or another.  Unfortunately, these dudes mis-interpret the message and think that she is really into them, and decide they can start trying to ask her out for dinner or just call to have a conversation (by the way, I never did that with the model I mentioned above).  

Fellow photographers....wake up!  Models don't really want to talk with you unless you are truly friends and like hanging out together.  If they have a boyfriend, it's because they have a boyfriend and they likely love him!  Don't cause stress in her relationship by being a dick and trying to somehow weasel your way in.  There was another model I worked with who actually quit for this very reason...so please, show some fucking restraint.  It's funny, I've had a couple of dudes actually block me on MM because I have called them on their shit.  And yet...they still persist in their tries.  My GF and I just laugh at them now because they are nuts.

Finally, before you ask me who a model is, ask yourself why are you asking?  Are you asking because you want to work with the model?  If so, then message me, I'm more than glad to share model info.  If it's because you think she is beautiful and want to stalk her or something? Please...go away....
